Today Daddy called and told us that a Chinook went down across the street from a family friend's house. Mommy took us there to see it, and we met Hi-Pop. He had talked to the pilot and the pilot said that the transmission light came on, and that is why they landed it. The transmission shop is the shop Daddy works in, but don't worry, the pilot said that it was just a fuse, and not really the transmission. We finally got our picture in front of the "copter" as Marianna says.

WOW!!! How exciting. Missed it by two days. How close would they let you get to it? During the summer, Frankie would get so excited when a Chinook was being tested over south Jersey.
