Memorial Day

This Memorial Day, we went down to MomMom and PopPop's and had a barbecue. It was a great day, with beautiful wonderful weather. Once we got there Pop started up the grill, and we had steak, ribs, and chicken. Meanwhile, MomMom was in the kitchen making corn bread, baked beans, corn on the cob, and for dessert, strawberry shortcake. Everything was yummy. While they were making dinner we were playing on the back porch, with Faith and Lee. After dinner we all went on a wheeler ride. Frankie went with PopPop, Faith and Lee went with Daddy, and I went with Uncle David. It was a nice long ride. Afterwards, we had dessert. Mommy got us Rocket Pops, and they were so tasty. I had such a good time eating mine, I got it all over. Afterwards, Frankie turned on the hose, and helped us wash our face and hands. Besides the wheeler ride, the ice-pops, playing with our cousins, and the food, the best part of the day was getting to take a bath afterwards. I am so glad that summer is here, so we can have more food, family, fun.
