Hide 'N' Seek

Last night the power went out around 5:30, we finished dinner, and then the house got dark quickly. This is what the house looked like about 45 minutes later. We were all a little nervous, but what were we going to do?

Mommy and Daddy got out the flashlights, and we had a nice family night in the dark. Daddy suggested we play a game...he said "Hey, Frankie, why don't we play a game...I will go hide, and you come and find me." I said, "Oh you mean, Hide 'N' Seek?" So that is what we did.

First Daddy hide, and I went to find him, and then Marianna and I hid while Daddy came to find us. We hid in the bath tub, under Marianna's blanket in bed, behind the door, in the ice chest, and in Reyna's jolly jumper.

We had a great time, until the it was bed time. We didn't want to go to sleep without our nightlights on, so we were able to sleep with our flashlights. Marianna went to sleep with a few of her friends. Mommy said the power didn't come back on until 10:00 or so.
