For Mommy's birthday, Daddy got her tickets to go up in a hot air balloon. She really wanted to go for a long time. They went on Friday. We got to stay with Aunt Jen and Uncle Tyler, while they drove over an hour a way to the "launch site". Then they had to set up the balloon. Daddy held the mouth open while a big fan blew air into it. It was huge!!! Then they got in a basket and took off. Both of them said it was really nice, and they would want to go again. They said it was wonderful weather to go up, a bit hazy, but a good wind. They ended up going about 15 mph, which is fast for a hot air balloon. They would like to go again in the fall time, and see the leaves change colors.

Wow, good for you! I wonder if lots of people (myself included) think it would be fun to go up in a balloon, but just never get around to it.
I'm glad you had a nice time and I agree that the fall would be breathtaking.
