Last night, I fell asleep at 9:30, and then threw up around 12:30. Mommy changed my bedding, pajamas, diapers, and oneise. I woke up long enough for her to get me back into my sleeper, and as she was taken me over to her bed, to make sure everything was okay, I fell asleep again in her arms two feet from my bed, and slept until 4:30 am. Not only do I sleep all night, but I also am sleeping all day too. My favorite place to sleep is cuddling up next to Mommy or Daddy's chest.

Daddy's Girl
It is a big joke in our house that Daddy likes to sleep, Mommy often teases him that he would sleep all day if Frankie, and Marianna would let him. I guess, I take after my Daddy because I sleep all the time. I slept through the night (9:30 pm to 4:00am) for the first time when I was six days old, and have continued to sleep waking up only in the very early morning hours to have a quick snack, and then go back to sleep until 8:00. Erika was (and still is) a sleeper, too. She would sleep about 22 hours out of 24 (wake up to be fed and back to sleep) in her first month or two. It dropped down to about 15-18 hour the months that followed. I tell her she was like a cat that slept all the time. She will still take naps on long (one hour, plus)car rides.

Malakhi slept through the night from birth till 3 months. Even now he only briefly wakes up to eat once. Enjoy! And don't listen when people say, "It won't last." Just smile and say, "We've been greatly blessed!"
