A Day in History

On February 12, 2006,

It was two years ago, on this day in this week, that this picture was taken. It was my first and last snow mobile ride. (We do still get snow in our back yard, but it has been awhile that we have gotten so much the we could take a ride) I did love it. Bundled up next to Daddy, with the cold wind flowing in my face. I had such a good time, I fell asleep. It is to bad that the girls couldn't get a chance to go. Hey, maybe we will still get a good snow this year.

Hi,
I just saw your post in twinsanity and I wanted to answer your question regarding your milk. My triplets were born at 31 weeks and I could not produce enough for them so our NICU gave them donated milk. Most NICU's have a program that accepts donated milk for babies in my situation. You may want to call your local NICU to see if they would accept it.

Funny! I just read your comment and was going to suggest you look up a milk bank online to donate it to!

Snow is a gift from God. Our Pastor loves snow and cold weather. I like to look at it but not get out in it. But if I had had a strong daddy to snuggle up against, who would take me for a fun ride in a snowmobile that might have made a difference!
I grew up without a dad and don't have these kinds of happy memories with him. But my mom was so wonderful and i havce a millon memories with her,...and have written some on my blog.
This blog thing is so much fun isn't it?
Thanks for sharing!
Linda

We recently had enough snow that if we'd had a snowmobile we would've been able to go places that the car wasn't able to go (like out of the driveway!). :)

Now our snow has melted and we're pretty happy with that, too.

Loved the picture!
