First Night

We bought a converter crib five years ago...a crib that converts into a toddler bed. It was something that we thought we should have, and then we wouldn't have to buy a toddler bed while transitioned our baby into a single bed. Well...three babies and two toddler beds later, we converted the crib to the toddler bed that we had planned on using so long ago. Last night was Reyna's first night in a big girl bed, and she was very excited to get into bed with Pig, Mouse, Moose, Baby, Baby Reyna, and Deer...oh yes, and her pillow too.

Of course, I should have known it was going to be a night of giggling and fun, because Marianna said "Look Reyna you can come and see me." The girls had their first sleep over well into the night, they were still giggling when Frank and I went to bed at ten. I did wake up in the middle of the night to check on Reyna and make sure everything was okay, and found her asleep on her bed with Dog, Mouse, Maggie (Marianna's doll), and Marianna...the rest were pushed to the floor.

I do pray that these sisters are this close even as they get older into their teen years.
