Turning 5

I can't believe my Frankie turned five on Thursday. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was bringing him home from the hospital. He doesn't like it, but I have to remind him that it doesn't matter how old he gets, he will always be my baby.

Of course the cake that Frankie wanted was number 95 himself...Lighting McQueen. We was very excited to see his cake. I think that is one of my favorite parts of the birthday, is seeing his face when he see his cake for the first time. It is great for him to see the cake, and to know that I made it special just for him.
He had a great time at his party, and got wonderful gifts...I lost track of how many McQueen things he got...everything from a McQueen snuggly to a McQueen remote control race track. He was had no clue what was coming though, so when he opened a small orange bag with a set of keys in it he was a little confused, and so he went to the front door to try to see if the keys opened the door...they didn't. And so Frank, told him to look at the bottom of the stairs, and Frankie thinking he meant the bottom of the house stairs, closed the door and looked on the ground. He still didn't have a clue what was going on, and so I opened the door, and he looked outside for the first time, and he said "there is a four wheeler out there for some reason". Needless to say, he was very very very excited!!!
