Train Ride

A few weeks ago, Frank and I met up with my Mom at the Strasburg Railroad, in Lancaster Pa to take a train ride through Amish farm land.  It was a beautiful day, and a very relaxing ride.

Gran and the Munchkins getting ready to leave the station.

We had to remind Frankie to keep his head inside the train in case there was an "Indian" attack, which is what the conductor told us as we rode in the historic train cars.

We rode the train down the track about 30 minutes and then they had to "turn it around", which really just means that they took the engine off, and then hooked it up at the end of the train.  This of course was very intresting to the kids, and of course Reyna had to lean WAY over to see how it all happened.   Good thing I had a tight hold on her.
Stay inside!!

After the train ride, we stopped to get some ice cream.  I had a great time watching Reyna stick out her tounge in and out so she could get as much ice cream as she could.

It was a perfect day!
